The Brashear girls faced LaPlata in the 1st round of the Novinger Tournament Tuesday. Things were pretty evenly matched in the 1st quarter with Brashear holding a 12-10 lead. Brashear extended the lead to 32-21 by halftime. LaPlata posted a strong 4th quarter, but their rally fell short as the Lady Tigers hung on for a 53-52 win.
